Dr. Jennifer Iversen, DNP, PMHNP-BC, provides psychiatric care across the lifespan and is passionate about collaborative, patient-centered treatment. While Psyche Denver serves adult patients only, Dr. Iversen also treats adolescents through Guidelight Health, where she supports youth in structured higher levels of care.

Dr. Iversen is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed to treat clients across the lifespan. She began her academic journey at Illinois Wesleyan University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and later completed an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2010.
Dr. Iversen worked as a medical-surgical registered nurse in various hospital settings for nine years before returning to school to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, where she graduated with President’s Honors. She went on to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in 2025.
She is passionate about empowering clients to be active participants in their treatment plans and expanding access to high-quality mental health care for the LGBTQIA+ community. Originally from east central Illinois, Dr. Iversen moved to Denver in 2017 and enjoys traveling, cycling, reading, cuddling with her cat Margot, and spending time with her niece and nephew.
