Devon Gerken, PMHNP-BC, is a dedicated psychiatric nurse practitioner who brings experience in pediatric mental health and crisis stabilization. She focuses on trauma-informed care and personalized treatment rooted in collaboration and respect.

Devon is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Colorado native that earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado. She has been working in behavioral health since 2018, with previous experience in bedside nursing and clinical management within the Pediatric Mental Health Institute at Children’s Hospital Colorado. These experiences fueled her passion to pursue further education as a psychiatric provider to address mental health disparities and increase access to care in Colorado.
Devon looks forward to working with individuals who have a variety of diagnoses despite extensive experience with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Her background in acute-stabilization psychiatric services emphasized the importance of utilizing a strengths-based approach, where individual differences are closely considered when developing a treatment plan. She is passionate about approaching psychiatry with an emphasis on trauma-informed care and shared decision-making, where innovative strategies are used to promote better outcomes for both mental and physical well-being.
Outside of work, she is an avid sports fan, notably for the Colorado Avalanche and Denver Broncos. She enjoys a little friendly competition, reading, working on her green thumb in the garden, and spending time with family.
