👉 What to Expect at Your First Visit:

Your first visit can be virtual or in person, your choice!

If your first visit is IN PERSON: please arrive to the office 10 minutes prior to your appointment so we can be sure that we have all appropriate documentation and paperwork in your chart. When you drive into the garage, please grab a ticket from the kiosk in the garage and bring your parking ticket up to the office with you and we can validate parking before you leave.

If your first visit is VIRTUAL: all virtual visits are conducted through Spruce. Please visit here for more information on how to use Spruce for your appointments. Whether you are using the app or a web browser, please make sure your ringer/volume is turned up so you can hear the call notification. Our providers do their very best to initiate the virtual call exactly at the start time of the appointment. If you do not receive the call immediately, please remain patient and your provider will be with you as soon as they are able.

APPOINTMENT CHECK IN PROCESS FOR FOLLOW UP VISITS– You will receive a text message ahead of your scheduled visit (usually the business day prior) with a link for an easy-to-fill form. This text will come from 425-600-7007. You can save this number in your contacts as a secondary Psyche number. Please complete the check in and submit the form prior to the time of your visit. If applicable, you will also receive a payment request link on Spruce for any copay due. Payment is due at the time services are rendered.

MESSAGING US ON SPRUCE: WHEN MESSAGING IN REGARDING MULTIPLE REQUESTS, please communicate all of your questions/needs in one message and select ONE option from the auto response menu. Your thread can only be assigned to one team/department at a time. If you message a second time before we are able to review and respond to your first message, the thread is reassigned to a different team. Unfortunately, this can result in messages being overlooked or missed. By communicating all of your requests in one message and selecting one team, we can internally review and delegate without anything being missed or overlooked.

If you have questions, send us a secure message via Spruce.

Self-Pay Rates and Insurance Billing

We believe in transparent pricing. The State of Colorado requires health care providers to make common prices publicly available. The amounts below are our self-pay (cash) rates for commonly provided evaluation and management visits.

Self-Pay (Cash) Rates

These rates apply when you are paying out of pocket and not using insurance.

ServiceSelf-Pay Rate
Intake appointment$250
Brief follow-up (low complexity)$100
Standard follow-up (moderate complexity)$125
Prolonged follow-up (high complexity)$160

Most common follow-up visit: Our most commonly billed follow-up appointment type is the
Standard Follow-Up (moderate complexity), which is $125 for self-pay.

If you have active insurance coverage for the services provided, we are generally required to bill your insurance (rather than accept self-pay for covered services).

Your cost with insurance can vary based on:

  • Your plan’s deductible
  • Copay or coinsurance
  • Your plan’s out-of-pocket maximum
  • The contracted rate between your insurance company and our clinic
  • Whether services are considered in-network or out-of-network
  • Coverage rules such as prior authorization or medical necessity requirements

Benefits estimate: We are happy to help by providing an estimate of your insurance benefits when possible (based on information available from your insurance plan). However, benefit estimates are not a guarantee of payment.

Final coverage and your out-of-pocket responsibility are determined by your insurance company when the claim is processed. You are ultimately responsible for any patient balance your insurer applies to you, including amounts related to deductible, copay, coinsurance, noncovered services, or out-of-network benefits.

If you are self-pay (or uninsured), you may request a good faith estimate of expected charges before scheduling or receiving services.

Please contact our office and we can provide an estimate based on the services anticipated for your care.

The rates above are for the visit itself. Additional charges may apply if additional services are provided or required, such as:

  • Lab work or other diagnostic testing
  • Therapy services
  • Additional time beyond the scheduled visit
  • Provider time for certain non-visit work (for example: forms, letters, paperwork, records review, or coordination of care), when applicable

We will discuss anticipated additional services and costs with you whenever possible.

Self-pay rates may change over time to remain consistent with fair market value and operational costs.
The most current pricing will be reflected on this page and/or confirmed at scheduling.

Have questions about your cost? Call us at (720) 432-9865, or message us here and we’re happy to help!
